	2009 is our 36th Season

Elmora Youth League is a nonprofit organization based in Elizabeth, New Jersey, The league organizes recreation baseball, softball and basketball for the youth of the Elmora/Elizabeth area. The league is staffed by volunteer parents. EYL forms travel baseball and softball teams that participate in local summer tournaments. Players are selected from registered participants in the Spring season.

	Elmora Youth League has a proud history of supporting our families in their time of need. It all began on 9/11/2001 when the league lost two Dads. We ran a fundraiser to help the families. Click here for the photos from the event.

	2002 - EYL ran a 100 inning game fundraiser to help Jevon Kenner and a Dinner Dance to support the Family of Board Member Tom Farrell.

	2003 - EYL ran a Dinner Dance to raise funds to purchase lights for the softball field at Hanratty.DinnerDance2003

	2004 - One of our coaches passed away suddenly and we held a 100 inning game to raise funds for the Sitarski family.


	2006 - To support the Montanez family who lost everything in a fire, the league collected funds to help the family.


	2009 - Jasanti Roach played softball in the league for 4 years until she lost a leg to cancer. We are looking to raise funds to help the family purchase a motorized wheelchair.
